# Como alterar a data de vencimento de um boleto?
Se o boleto de pagamento da venda venceu e o cliente deseja pagar, é necessário alterar a data de vencimento na guia de **Financeiro**. Em seguida, clique no botão 
**editar**, conforme mostrado abaixo:

Essa opção só está disponível caso não tenha ocorrido uma baixa no financeiro. 😉👍

Após aberto o boleto para edição, procure o campo **Data de vencimento**, defina uma data válida mais adiante e clique no botão 
**salvar**, conforme demonstrado abaixo:
Concluídas estas etapas, gere um novo boleto e envie para o cliente efetuar o pagamento.

O boleto antigo ainda ficará disponível para pagamento caso não tenha efetuado o processo de cancelamento dele.
